Titan industries register 50 per cent rise in sales in Q3

Bangalore, Jan 21 (UNI) Titan Industries Ltd, has recorded sales turnover of Rs 813.45 crore, registering a 50 per cent rise, in Q3 of current fiscal.

Company's PAT also rose by 11 per cent to Rs 30.84 crore for the same period, a press release said here today.

It ended the first nine months of 2007-08 with a sales turnover of Rs 2,205 crore, ahead of the annual sales turnover of Rs 2,136 crore achieved in 2006-07. PAT for the current nine-month period was registered at Rs 97.80 crore, surpassing Rs 94.33 crore seen in 2006-07.

The Watch division sales grew by 20 per cent from Rs 535.98 crore, while Jewellery grew substantially by over 61 per cent to Rs 1,496.66 crore from Rs 951.65 crore during the period.

The second jewellery brand Goldplus crossed Rs 100 crore sales during the period.
