Hyderabad, Jan 21: Satyam Computer Services Ltd today announced it earned Rs 2,195.56 crore as revenue during the third quarter representing an YoY increase of 32.2 per cent and a sequential increase of 8.1 per cent.
Net Profit after Tax was Rs 433.63 crore during the third quarter, a YoY increase of 28.6 per cent and a sequential increase of six per cent.
EPS improved 26.1 per cent YoY to Rs 6.48 with EBITDA margin for the quarter being 21.46 per cent, a company release added.
''We enjoyed a strong third quarter. Several key strategies to enhance our portfolio of capabilities and solidify our position as a leading provider of integrated, end-to-end business transformation services are bearing fruit,'' said Mr B Ramalinga Raju, Satyam's Founder and Chairman.
''The highlight of the quarter was the continued improvement in all operating parameters, which helped us post better than guided performance,'' said Satyam Chief Financial Officer Srinivas Vadlamani.
''Increased productivity, resulting from higher utilisation, increased billing rates and offshore shift led to 164 bps improvements in margin,'' he added.
For FY08, under US GAAP, revenue is expected to be between 2,119.2 million US Dollar and 2,122.1 million USD, implying a growth rate of 45 per cent to 45.2 per cent over FY07.
For Q4 FY08, under US GAAP, revenue is expected to be between 594.4 million USD and 597.3 million USD, implying a growth rate of 5.6 per cent to 6.1 per cent.
In Q3, Satyam's BPO wing Nipuna changed its name to Satyam BPO Services. The organisation posted revenues of 15.3 million USD and a net loss of 2.4 million USD.
The revenue guidance for FY08 is 61 million USD representing growth of over 60 per cent from the previous year.
