Pune, Jan 21 (UNI) Rain or snow are likely to occur at a few places in Jammu&Kashmir, and at isolated places in Uttarakhand, and Himachal Pradesh.

Rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at a few places in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, and at isolated places in West Bengal, Sikkim, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Nicobar, and Lakshadweep.

Mainly dry weather will prevail over Orissa, Jharkhand, Haryana, Punjab, Rajasthan and Andaman.

Severe cold wave conditions prevailed in Jammu and in some parts of north Rajasthan, and at isolated places in Punjab, southwest Madhya Pradesh and northeast Madhya Pradesh.

Cold wave conditions also prevailed in Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Kashmir, in some parts of west Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand and southwest Rajasthan, in remaining parts of Punjab, north Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh, and at isolated places in east Uttar Pradesh, coastal Saurashtra, Rayalseema and north interior Karnataka.

Night temperatures were appreciably below normal in south interior Karnataka and in remaining parts of Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Konkan and Goa.

They were below normal in some parts of south Madhya Maharashtra and in remaining parts of Rayalseema.

Night temperatures were appreciably to markedly above normal in Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, West Bengal, Sikkim, Orissa and Bihar, and in some parts of Jharkhand. They were above normal in Chattisgarh and in remaining parts of Jharkhand. They were normal over the rest of the country.

Rain or snow have occurred at isolated places in Himachal Pradesh. Rain or thundershowers have occurred at many places in Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, and at a few places in Arunachal Pradesh and at isolated places in Assam, Meghalaya, and Gangetic West Bengal.

Mainly dry weather prevailed in Sub Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim, Orissa, Jharkhand, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Haryana, Punjab, Jammu&Kashmir, and Rajasthan.
