Melbourne, Jan 21 : Megan Gale has signed on to play 'Wonder Woman' in "Justice League of America".
The 32-year-old confirmed her part in the multi-starrer saying that she had always dreamt of being the superhero.
"I still can't believe it," she said. "I have been infatuated with Wonder Woman since I was a teenager," Moviehole quoted her, as telling News.com.au.
"People used to tell me I looked like Lynda Carter. It was always a bit of a fantasy. It was never going to be a reality for me, but it kind of found me and I'm a big believer in fate and destiny. Even if the writers' strike goes on forever, for me, the fact that I've been cast as Wonder Woman is enough," she added.
The movie is being directed by George Miller and Ryan Reynolds is expected to portray Flash.
The script is being penned by Kieran and Michele Mulroney, with Joel Silver producing the superhero flick.
However, not expected to join the cast are Christian Bale and Brandon Routh -- Warner's reigning Batman and Superman, respectively.
