Sydney, Jan 20 (UNI) Ladies have another reason to celebrate the spirit of womanhood as a survey reveals that they are the real managers when it comes to home and housing.
The new survey conducted by a leading real estate in Australia has shown that women make 90 per cent of all decisions related to the home, whether it is buying a home, selling one, or renovating.
''I think the advantage is that women listen more to what is needed and understand that buying a home is a heart decision, not a head decision,'' said researcher Ms Michelle Placks, who is also the agent of 'Century 21' Real Estate.
The survey found that 85 per cent of all home hunters are more likely to trust a female real estate agent, 69 per cent of women get to choose the house their family lives in, and 73 per cent choose the agent.
''A house has got to have a feeling about it, and women are more intuitive, '' the Daily Telegraph quoted Ms Placks as saying.
She was not surprised by the survey's results as she often sees women ruling the roost, and the choosing of that roost.
Behind every sucessful 'home' there is a woman.
