Moradabad, Jan 20 (UNI) The Bharatiya Majdoor Sangh has demanded the Centre to drop the Special Economic Zone (SEZ) establishment scheme, following a Finance Ministry report, whereby Rs 90,000 crore revenue loss is suspected, Bharatiya Majdoor Sangh Moradabad in charge said here today.
Union Finance Minister P Chidambram had called a union labour organisations meet before the union budget presentation in Feburary, where Bharatiya Majdoor Sangh officials also participated.
The Sangh handed over a letter, carrying their 12 demands, to the minister.
''Control in price hike, separate Parliamentary bills for unorganised and agricultural areas were two of the other demands,'' in charge Veerendra said.
