witnessed
a
drastic
fall
in
its
bottom
line
as
profit
after
tax
fell
to
Rs
3.8
crore
for
the
third
quarter
ended
December
31,
compared
to
Rs
12
crore
corresponding
period
last
year.
However, it managed an eight per cent rise in its consolidated revenues to Rs 143.3 crore during the period, a company release said. Cash and cash equivalents stood at Rs 58.5 crore as on December 31, compared to Rs 34.8 crore on last financial year. A Gross total of 228 people were added this quarter, taking the total employee strength to 3,602 as on December 31, Utilization on the services side stands at 79.2 Per cent. During the quarter, seven new customers were added taking the total to 91 active customers.
Commenting on the performance, Rajiv Mody, Chairman and CEO said, "revenues have grown by 8.8 per cent sequentially in dollar terms.
The operating margins were at 14.7 per cent in the services business, for the current quarter".
