J'khand bachao rally on Feb 23 to expose Koda govt
Ranchi, Jan 19 (UNI) The BJP will hold a 'Jharkhand bachao' rally in the state on Februaryu 23 to highlight the misgovernance of UPA-backed Madhu Koda government, party sources today said.
Party national president Rajnath Singh and senior party leader L K Advani are supposed to attend the meeting.
Announcing this at a press conference, state BJP president P N Singh said the rally would expose the misgovernance of the Koda government and corruption his council of ministers were indulging in.
Former Chief Minister Arjun Munda talking about the February four bypolls to Simaria said the party had made strategy to ensure that it did not slip into the UPA kitty.
Simaria Assembly segment was divided into three zones with special poll managers assigned to keep tab of the voters' swing, he said.
Mr Munda expressed concern that the ruling party might resort to rigging and urged the Election Commision to deploy adequate security during the polling.
He referred to the RJD and JMM's support to the CPI candidate in the bypoll and ridiculed the Congress' decision to field candiate.
He also termed the UPA's coalition spirit in the state as ''political drama''.
