CPI(M) to hold meet in Mysore from Jan 21

Mysore, Jan 19: A state-level CPI(M) conference will be held here from January 21 as part of its preparation for the forthcoming assembly polls in Karnataka.

More than 10,000 workers are expected to take part in this four-day conference. Talking to newspersons, Reception Committee Chairman Jayaram and General Secretary N S Prabhakar said the party would discuss the strategy to be adopted for the coming assembly elections, besides organising various party meetings at the state level.

The Polit Bureau members, including Sitaram Yechury, S Ramachandra Pillai and K Varadarajan will take part in the meeting.

Mr Prabhakar said 300 delegates elected in the recently concluded district conference of the party would also participate in the meet.

A massive public rally will also be organised on that day which would pass through various main streets.
