conference
in
New
Delhi
on
January
16th,
Iranian
Finance
Minister
said
that
Iran
was
looking
forward
to
a
deal
between
India
and
Pakistan"s
on
building
a
$7-billion
pipeline
to
supply
gas
to
energy-hungry
south
Asian
neighbours.
The proposed pipeline will initially carry 60 million cubic meters of gas to be exported daily to Pakistan and India, half to each country. Jafari also called for India to invest in Iranian gas fields and receive as much LNG as it needed in return.
