Pet dogs are better than men: Britt Ekland

London, Jan 18 : After a string of broken relationships, actress Britt Ekland finally found a bond that seems to be working out quite well- with her pet Chihuahua.

The former wife of comedian Peter Sellers reserves her affections for her pet dog Tequila.

"He goes everywhere with me. We have been seeing each other for five years now," Daily Express quoted Ekland, as saying.

The 65-year-old actress feels that pet dogs have more affection than men.

"Pet dogs are better than men. They don't just ask for affection, they give it, too," she said.

On being asked about her unsuccessful relationships she said: "I was too nice. I treated them all like kings and in return they turned me into some sort of servant girl."

"I understand why Kate Moss wants to hang out with rock stars. I was like that (her third husband was rocker Jim McDonnell) but you soon realise they are very selfish," she added.
