Becoming pals wasn't 'a piece of cake' for Willis, Kutcher: Moore
Washington, Jan 18 : Demi Moore has revealed the effort ex hubby Bruce Willis, now spouse Ashton Kutcher and she put in to keep the relationship between the trio friendly.
The 45-year-old actress, who has remained good friends with Willis, admitted that it wasn't "easy" when she started dating Kutcher, who is 15 years her junior, in 2003.
"It wasn't a piece of cake," Usmagazine.com quoted her, as telling V Magazine.
"It wasn't automatic or easy. It took diligence and effort and even enduring awkwardness, and a lot of general giving on my part and Bruce's part. And really, tremendously, on Ashton's part.
"Coming into my life, Ashton just wasn't meeting somebody that had baggage. You know, I had trunks!" she added.
Demi also insisted that there are no hard feelings between her and Bruce, and they just want each other to be happy.
"You can dig deep within yourself and really have a desire for someone else's happiness, which I feel I do have for Bruce and he has for me. He has a joy and appreciation for what Ashton and I share, and for how Ashton is with the girls," she said.
Moore has three daughters with Willis - Rumer, 19, Scout, 16, and Tallulah Belle, 13.
The 'Ghost' star married Kutcher in 2005.
