Nicholas Q3 net up 70.48 per cent to Rs 73.82cr

New Delhi, Jan 18: Nicholas Piramal India Ltd today said its net profit increased 70.48 per cent to Rs 73.82 crore for the third quarter ended December 31, 2007 compared to Rs 43.3 crore in the corresponding quarter last year. Its total income increased 20.60 per cent to Rs 492.1 crore for the third quarter this year compared to Rs 408.04 crore in the same period last year.

The consolidated results show the group net profit at Rs 72.76 crore for the third quarter ended December 31, 2007 as compared to Rs 55.55 crore in the corresponding quarter last year. Total Income increased to Rs 736.35 crore for the third quarter from Rs 649.7 crore in the same period last year.
