14-day judicial custody for Flytech MD
Hyderabad, Jan 18 (UNI) A local court today remanded Flytech Aviation Academy Director Captain Venugopal Jambavat to 14-day judicial custody on the charge of evading customs duty.
He was arrested by the officials of Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI), after a raid at the premises of the Academy in the city yesterday.
The Fifth Nampalli Metropolitan Magistrate remanded him in judicial custody till January 31.
He allegedly imported five LCD video display boards and world class Helium balloons from the UK in 2006, but evaded customs duty.
