Nano to result in 65 pc rise in car owning families

world"s
cheapest
car,
Nano,
unveiled
by
the
Tatas
at
the
Auto
Expo
2008,
could
lead
to
a
65
per
cent
increase
in
the
number
of
families
that
can
afford
a
car.
In
a
recent
analysis
by
Crisil
Research,
experts
have
cited
the
low
pricing
of
the
car
as
the
reason.
The expected consumer price of Nano would be around Rs 1.3 lakh which obviously makes it very affordable for middle or lower middle income households.
