Police start preventive arrest of Gujjar leaders before Mahapadav
Bhilwara, Jan 17 (UNI) Four Gujjar leaders including Gujjar Chetana Manch national president Rajendra Bhiduri were taken into custody on charge of breach of peace.
The Gujjar leaders Bherulal Gujjar, Gujjar Mahasabha general secretary Samaya Singh Gujjar, Akhil Bharatiya Gujjar parishad district coordinator Ram Prasad Dhabahi, were arrested during a press conference, under sections 107 and 151 of IPC and produced before the court of Additional District Collector Mohan Lal Yadav.
On denial of bail by the court, all the four leaders have been sent to Central Jail here.
Suspended BJP MLA Attar Singh Bhadana was also present a the press conference but he left the venue just a few minutes before the police action.
It is been seen as a preventive measure to thwart the propsoed 'mahapadav' in Jaipur on January 21 sponsored by the rival faction opposing Gujjar leader Col Kirori Singh Bainsla.
After the news of the arrest spread among the Gujjar youth wing, Rashtriya Chhatra Sangh under the leadership of state president Dhiraj Gujjar, took out a procession outside the collectorate.
