London, Jan 17 : The latest bling must-have for the rich and famous are the Manchester Gold sovereign rings, which feature the heads of "hero and villain" historic national leaders.
The rings have gone on display at the Theo Fennell counter at Manchester's Harvey Nichols department store and are on sale at 3,500 pounds.
Jeweller-to-the-stars Theo Fennell, who lists the likes of Victoria Beckham among his clients, has created the heroes and villains' rings.
According to a spokesman for the store the rings have been popular with celebrities, reports Times Online.
The eye-popping designs include former Prime Minister Sir Winston Churchill, peace pioneer Mahatma Gandhi, former US president Abraham Lincoln, fascist dictator Benito Mussolini, Argentine revolutionary Che Guevara and Chinese political leader Chairman Mao.
