New Delhi, Jan 17 (UNI) The Delhi police has seized from a shop in Karol Bagh fake accessories of mobile phones and arrested one person in this connection.

A team of the Delhi Police economic offences wing yesterday arrested a trader Govind Prakash Singh for indulging in selling and stocking duplicate Nokia mobile phones and accessories from his shop in Gaffar market in Karol Bagh.

Several fake mobile phones and accessories were seized from Singh's shop during a raid, on a complaint by Nokia's representative about the accused indulged in sale of infringed or duplicate Nokia mobile phones.

In another incident, the Delhi Police arrested two traders of Kashmere Gate involved in selling duplicate products of Tata Motors Ltd.

The Police arrested Rajeev Raj Paul and Buta Singh after raids on their shops in Kashmere Gate on Tuesday which revealed several bundles of duplicate automotive parts and packing material purportedly manufactured by Tata Motors.

Interrogation of 58-year-old Buta Singh revealed that he had been manufacturing duplicate wrappers of Tata Motors at his manufacturing unit and then sold it in the retail market in Kashmere Gate to shops like those owned by the other accused Paul.
