3 smugglers arrested along with illicit timber in Kashmir
Srinagar, Jan 17 (UNI) The Jammu and Kashmir police today arrested three smugglers and seized illicit timber from their possession in south Kashmir, official sources said.
They said police on a specific information conducted a raid at village drubgam, Rajpora, in the south Kashmir district of Pulwama early this morning.
During the raids, police arrested three smugglers Mushtaq Ahmad, Altaf Ahmad and Javaid Ahmad.
They said police have also seized illicit timber during the raids.
A case under section 379 RPC, 6 Forest Act has been registered against the smugglers.
