Stoppage periods of trains extended
New Delhi, Jan 16 (UNI) The Northern Railway has extended the stoppage periods of ten trains by another six months and of eleven trains for three months.
The Railways had earlier announced that the halts by these trains would be withdrawn on January 15, 2008.
The Northern Railway took the decision to extend the stoppage periods for the convenience of passengers, a release said today.
The halt periods of the following trains have been extended by six months.
The 2017/2018 New Delhi-Dehradun Shatabdi, 4217/4218 Unchahar Express, 4265/4266 Vananasi-Dehradun Express, 4511/4512 Allahabad- Saharanpur Nauchandi Express, 4041/4042 Delhi Sarai Rohilla-Dehradun Mussoorie Express, 4307/4308 Mughalsarai-Bareilly Express, 3307/3308 Dhanbad-Firozepur Ganga Sutlej Express, 4711/4712 Haridwar-Sriganganagar Intercity, 3151/3152 Sealdah-Jammu Express and 4265/4266 Varanasi-Dehradun Janta Express.
For the following trains, the stoppages have been extended by a period of three months.
The 4545/4546 Shalimar Express, the 8102 Muri Express, 8237/8238 Chhattisgarh Express, 4307/4308 Bareilly-Mughalsarai Express, 5273/5274 Satyagrah Express, the 4525/4526 Ambala-Sriganganagar Express, 4731 New Delhi-Bathinda Express, 4265/4266 Varanasi-Dehradun Express, 3151/3152 Sealdah-Jammu Tawi Express, 3050 Amritsar-Howrah Express and 4265/4266 Varanasi-Dehradun Express.
