Mumbai, Jan 16: IT innovator Sabeer Bhatia's sabsebolo.com has entered into a strategic alliance with Relience Communications to provide a free Voice Conferencing facility.
''All you have to do is sign up and get free access. We also have a programme interface that can be used as a platform for business tie-ups in a creative manner,'' said Sabeer Bhatia at the launch. By logging in and signing up, the site gives the user a password for a free telephonic conference via a mobile phone or fixed line with upto 10 people at a time. Only the caller will be charged according to normal call rates by the telephone company.
The user also has the option of eliminating the audio advertisement which is inserted at the beginning of utilising the conference. For advertising free conferencing, the site will charge a nominal fee for the facility.
''We are also planning to launch a video-audio messaging service in two-three months,'' stated co-founder Yogesh Patel.
Sabeer has predicted a bright future for the country's internet industry with strong growth in e-commerce with the expansion of broadband and added that the booming mobile phone market is not a fad and will continue to grow as Indians become more technologically savvy.
