CAG submits report on Tripura

Comptroller
and
Auditor
General
of
India
(CAG)
has
forwarded
the
accounts
and
transactions
of
the
government
of
Tripura
for
the
year
ended
March
31,
2007
for
laying
in
the
state
Legislature.
The report contains audit comments and observations on the accounts and transactions pertaining to the activities of the state government (Civil, Revenue Receipts and Commercial).
In accordance with article 151 of the Constitution, the Comptroller and Auditor General of India are required to forward Audit Reports to the Governor who causes them to be laid on the table of the state Legislature.
