Hyderabad, Jan 16 (UNI) Senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader and former Union Minister Ch Vidyasagara Rao today demanded that the Congress and the opposition Telugu Desam Party (TDP) should spell out their stand on providing separate statehood for Telangana.
Talking to newspersons here, he said Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy should make a statement on the issue since his party leaders were expressing different views.
He alleged that the Congress and the TDP had no commitment on separate Telangana.
Welcoming the Congress leaders of Telangana region for opposing the sale of government lands, he said the government should promulgate an ordinance, banning the sale of government lands in the region.
