Three-day Partnership Summit 2008 to kick off at Gurgaon tomorrow
New Delhi, Jan 15 (UNI) A three-day 14th Partnership Summit 2008 will get underway at Gurgaon from tomorrow to discuss on how an increasingly troubled world can arrive at a consensus on issues of economic progress in an inclusive manner.
The Summit is being jointly organised by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), Ministry of Commerce and Industry and the Government of Haryana with the theme 'Emerging Consensus: Inclusive&Sustainable Development'.
Prime Minister of Hungary Mr Ferenc Gyurcsany is the Chief Guest at the Partnership Summit, while the Minister of Commerce and Industry Kamal Nath is the Chairman of the Summit.
Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda, CII President Sunil Bharti Mittal, Chairman of Max Group of Companies Analjit Singh and Past Chairman, CII&Chairman, Hero Corporate Service Ltd, Mr Sunil Munjal are the Co-chairs of the Partnership Summit 2008.
The Summit seeks to carry forward the discussion on how an increasingly troubled world can arrive at a consensus on issues of economic progress in an inclusive manner.
This global convention will host Ministers and Dignitaries from 28 countries and two regional groupings of COMESA and the African Union.
