JK CM hopes for early restoration of normalcy in Pakistan
Jammu, Jan 15 (UNI) Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad today hoped for early restoration of normalcy in Pakistan to bring back the momentum to the peace process between the neighbouring countries.
Expressing concern over the disturbed internal situation in Pakistan, Mr Azad said restoration of normalcy in the neighbouring country would help in resuming the disturbed peace process.
The Chief Minister, who was replying on the governor's address in the Legislative Assembly, termed the assassination of former prime minister Benazir Bhutto as ''killing of democracy'' in Pakistan.
''We hope that normalcy and democracy will restore soon in Pakistan and the peace process will continue as earlier between both the countries,'' Mr Azad said.
