BSF sends 35 rural students on 'Bharat Darshan'
Jammu, Jan 15 (UNI) As a goodwill gesture, the BSF (Jammu Frontier) today flagged off a group of 35 school children, drawn from the remote areas of the region, on 'Bharat Darshan' tour.
Health minister Mangat Ram Sharma flagged off the bus from the frontier's headquarters at Paloura here.
The tour, which is an annual feature of the frontier, aims at exposing the rural children to the rich cultural heritage of the country.
''seven such tours have been organised by BSF till date wherein 322 students visited various parts of the country,'' an official spokesman said.
