Era Infra Q3FY07 net up 38.89%
New Delhi, Jan 14 (UNI) Era Infra Engineering Ltd (EIEL) today said its net profit registered an increase of 38.89 per cent to Rs 27.64 crore for the third quarter ended December 31, 2007 as compared to Rs 19.90 crore during the same period last fiscal.
The company's revenues also increased 63 per cent to Rs 340.39 crore during Q3FY07 as against Rs 208.31 crore in the corresponding quarter a year ago, a company statement said.
For the nine months ended December 31, 2007, the company's profit saw a hike of 73.27 per cent to Rs 84.61 crore from Rs 48.83 crore in the same period of last year.
The company's revenue for the period April-December 2007 stood at Rs 877.23 crore from Rs 495.48 crore during the same period a year ago, registering an increase of 77 per cent.
EIEL's Ready Mix Concrete (RMC) Division plans to invest about Rs 400 crore over the next three years to build 50 RMC plants, the statement added.
At present, the firm has three operational plants in the NCR region and plans to set up three more by March 2008.
EIEL, an integrated infrastructure development firm, has its order book currently standing at Rs 4,000 crore.
