Bihar Legislative Council employee's body recovered

Patna, Jan 14: The body of an employee of the Bihar Legislative Council was recovered from the Gardanibagh police station area here this morning.

Police said acting on a tip-off, raids were conducted at Road Number 11 of the area and Akhilesh Singh's body was recovered. The body was sent for post-mortem. Police added that two people had been arrested in this connection and interrogation was on. The reason behind the murder was not yet ascertained.

Akhilesh Singh, a resident of the Kankarbagh colony, was missing since January five and an FIR was lodged in the Kankarbagh police station by the victim's relatives. Later, a special team, comprising two deputy police superintendents and three officers-incharge, was constituted to trace the missing employee of the legisltaive council.
