Rupnagar, Jan 13 (UNI) The construction work of the Khalsa Heritage Complex at Anandpur Sahib would be completed by March next year, Punjab Chief Secretary Ramesh Inder Singh today said.
He made this announcement after inspecting the progress of ongoing construction work of the project at Anandpur Sahib.
Principal Secretary (Finance) D S Kalha, Deputy Commissioner A K Sinha, SSP Praveen Kumar Sinha, ADC B Purushartha and other concerned senior officials accompanied the Chief Secretary.
Mr Singh also inspected other projects conceived on the occasion of Khalsa Birth tercentenary in 1999. He said that the Martial Arts Academy would also start functioning by March next year.
The first phase of the Khalsa Heritage Complex, which commenced in 1999 was inaugurated during the the previous Congress government.
