Bihar's 'most wanted' nabbed in Haryana
Kaithal, Jan 13 (UNI) Bihar's 'most wanted' criminal carrying a reward of Rs one lakh on his head was nabbed by the Haryana Police near Bakal village last night.
Umesh Kumar Mandal, a resident of Thuthi village falling under Bhimpur police station in Bihar was wanted in a number of cases of murder and dacoity in Nepal and Bihar and was carrying a reward of Rs one lakh on his head, SSP Anil Kumar said here today.
Mandal was facing as many as ten criminal cases and had slipped out of the custody of Bihar police on two occasions in the past .
An illegal country made pistol and cartridges were recovered from his possession.
The accused was produced in the court of CJM Ajay Parasher here who sent himin 14-day judicial custody. The Bihar police have been informed of the arrest.
