Three electrocuted, 6 injured near Gurdwara
Kapurthala, Jan 12 (UNI) Three people were electrocuted while six others were injured in a Gurdwara at Lakhwarian village near Sultanpur Lodhi today.
According to police, one of the victims climbed the Nishan Sahib at Gurdwara at village Lakhwarian to change its cloth when one of the supporting wire of Nishan Sahib came in contact with a 'live-wire' passing near, causing the tragedy.
The other victims were supporting the deceased who had climbed on the Nishan Sahib.
The deceased have been identifeid as Harpreet Singh, Manpreet Singh and Gurpreet Singh.
All the injured have been admitted in the civil hospital at Sultanpur Lodhi and stated to be out of danger.
