'I strive to let cinema be in its original form: Sharmila
Pune, Jan 11 (UNI) Censor Board chairperson Sharmila Tagore today said she always strived to let cinema be in its original form as it was intended to be.
Interacting with the mediapersons here this evening on the sidelines of the 6th annual Pune International Film Festival (PIFF), the veteran actress said she imposed minimum regulations and cut only those scenes that were necessary without infringing the film's originality.
When asked about her present acting assignments, she said she was working in Nagesh Kuknoor's film 'Tasveer'.
She added even today, she continued to grow as an actor and adapted herself to the ever-changing demands of the Indian cinema.
Sharmila said she had never given any acting tips to her two children -- actor Saif Ali Khan and Soha Ali Khan, and added that she allowed them to learn the hard way and asked them to struggle to achieve their own success.
