CBI detains former UPDESCO MD for questioning

Lucknow, Jan 11 (UNI) The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) today detained former Managing Director of Uttar Pradesh Development Systems Corporation (UPDESCO) S G Pathik for questioning during a raid at his residence today.

Mr Pathik is yet to be formally arrested, officials said.

Earlier, the CBI team had also raided the residence of former Additional CEO of Noida Authority Mukhteshwar Mohan Mishra in the state capital.

The raids had been conducted at more then 19 places spread over the cities of Noida, Ghaziabad, Meerut and Lucknow.

The CBI had seized several CDs, laptops and hard discs in the raid conducted at the UPDESCO office here.

Those, who are in the CBI net, included several senior officials, who were posted at Noida and other prime places, where the infamous Noida Plot Allotment scam 2004-2005 scam had occurred.
