Archbishops demand action on Orissa attacks
Kochi, Jan 12 (UNI) The Kerala Regional Latin Catholic Council today demanded strong action against those responsible for the attacks on Christian institutions in Orissa recently.
Addressing the press here after a meeting of the council, Verapoly Archbishop Daniel Acharuparambil and Thiruvananthpauram Archbishop Soosaipakiam said the community should be vigilant against the changes proposed by the Kerala Government in the Kerala Education Rules.
This was necessary as the government had ''hidden agenda'' in the education sector, the Church leaders claimed.
