Washington, Jan 12: Pop star Christina Aguilera's rep has denied published reports that the singer has given birth to her first child with hubby Jordan Bratman.
The rep dismissed claims that the singer has become a mother, by confirming that she is still pregnant, and not in labour.
"She is still pregnant. She is not in labour," Usmagazine.com quoted the rep, as saying.
According to E! News, the couple had announced the birth in a quick text message to friends and family around 4 p.m. on Jan 11 saying, "Baby has arrived. Mom and dad are doing well!"
Aguilera had told Marie Claire magazine that she and Bratman, a music-marketing exec, always had plans to start a family but were nonetheless surprised when they learned a baby was already on board.
