Bhopal, Jan 11 (UNI) A Youth Parliament is being organised in the Madhya Pradesh capital tomorrow with the objective of drawing attention of the government for making youth-centred policies.
''Generally, sports policy is understood as youth policy in various states. However, an initiative has been taken to prepare youth-centred policies,'' State BJYM President Vishwas Narang today said.
Besides several party leaders, including senior party leader Sushma Swaraj and MP Navjot Singh Siddhu, litterateur Kumar Vishwas and journalist Kumar Saptrishi would take part in the Youth Parliament.
Earlier, the BJYM had tried to gather suggestions of youths from various parts of the state regarding the kind of policy they wanted.
The party had received over 12,000 suggestions. Most youth want employment-oriented education for their better future.
Mr Sarang said the BJYM would approach Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan with these recommendations.
