Militants trigger IED, one arrested in Kashmir
Srinagar, Jan 11 (UNI) Militants today made an abortive bid to target security force vehicles when they triggered a powerful Improvised Explosive Device (IED) while an ultra was arrested in the Kashmir valley overnight.
Official sources said militants detonated an IED targetting security forces vehicle at Putoshahi on Srinagar-Bandipora road.
The IED went off minutes after the security force vehicles passed the area. No one was injured.
Later security forces conducted search operation in the area but the militants, responsible for causing the blast, managed to escape.
They said security forces arrested a militant alongwith a Chinese hand grenade at Main Bazar bandipora.
