HC directs CBI to produce narco-analysis report
Kochi, Jan 11 (UNI) The Kerala High Court today directed the CBI to produce the narco-analysis test report in Sister Abhaya case before the Chief Judical Magistrate Court within two weeks.
Justice V Ramkumar directed the CBI to produce a copy of the test report in the High Court also.
The direction was given while disposing a petition filed by a social activist Jomon Puthanpurackal.
The petitioner, covenor of the Sister Abhaya Case Action Council, had challenged the Ernakulam Chief Judicial Magistrate Court's order dismissing his petition, which sought a direction to the CBI to produce the narco-analysis test report.
Sister Abhaya, an inmate of Pious Tenth Convent Hostel at Kottayam, was found dead in a well at the convent premises on March 27, 1992.
