Five IAS officers transfered in Punjab

Chandigarh, Jan 11 (UNI) In a minor administrative shake-up, the Punjab Government today ordered transfer and posting of five Indian Administrative Officers with immediate effect in the state.

Mr J R Kundal, Principal Secretary, Water Supply and Sanitation, has been transfered and posted as Financial Commissioner (Appeals).He was replaced by Mr P S Ahula who was available for posting.

Mr B C Thakur, Secretary, Water Supply and Sanitation, has been posted as Secretary, Cooperation, against a vacant post.

Dr Arvinder Singh, Special Secretary, Science, Technology, Environment and Non_Conventional Energy, has been posted as Additional Registrar, Cooperative Societies against a vacant post.

Mr Raj Kamal Chaudhary, Project Director, World Bank-Assisted Punjab Rural Water Supply and Sanitation Project, has been posted as Special Secretary, Water Supply and Sanitation, retaining his earlier post in addition.
