Vince Vaughn still friendly with Jennifer Aniston

Washington, Jan 10 : American film actor Vince Vaughn and Jennifer Aniston may have split up over a year ago, but he is still great pals with her.

Vaughn is still known as Aniston's ex, but he does not mind it as he has a great relationship with her.

"I have such a great friendship with Jennifer," People mag reported Vince as telling Parade magazine.

"Really, I still talk to her constantly. I have a real, genuine connection with Jen. And I have a real appreciation of her. That continues to this day," he added.

Vaughn was asked about what went wrong between them that they split up, one of his reasons was that he was not ready to settle down as yet.

"In regular life, people date, and sometimes it works out, and sometimes it doesn't. We get more attention because we're more known," the mag quoted him as saying of his 13-month relationship with the Friends alum.

"I don't run away from [the responsibility of having a family], but I've never been to the point where I've felt like, 'Wow, this makes sense,'" he says.

It looks like even Aniston is not ready as yet for commitment. And as her rep recently told US mag, after false reports surfaced in the National Enquirer, she is not pregnant with Vaughn's child.

The relationship between the two has long remained amicable, and in February 2007, he even attended her 38th birthday party.

"I always try to keep my relationships quiet and my work at the forefront," Vaughn says.

"I haven't been someone to go and talk about those things, because that's not what I want to be known for," he added.
