Britney needs to be on 'suicide watch', says her aunt

Washington, Jan 10 : Britney Spears' aunt thinks that the troubled singer is in such a perilous state of mind that she should be kept under a suicide watch.

Chanda McGovern was shaken after seeing the 26-year-old star's recent downfall.

"She needs to be on suicide watch," Us magazine quoted her aunt, McGovern, as saying.

The 'Toxic' hitmaker recently had a three-hour standoff at her home when she refused to give her two sons back to estranged hubby Kevin Federline.

Spears had to spend two nights in a hospital.
