105 AK rounds, 5 UBGL grenades recovered in Jammu
Jammu, Jan 10 (UNI) Security forces today busted a militant hideout and recovered a large quantity of arms and ammunition, from a house of their over ground worker (OGW) in Doda district of Jammu and Kashmir, official sources said.
Meanwhile, 400 grams RDX, three UBGL grenades, 86 pika rounds, an RPG bomb and a rocket were recovered during search operations in the bordering Poonch district.
Troops of Rashtriya Rifles (RR) recovered 105 rounds of AK rifles, five UBGL grenades, a mobile phone and Rs 3,000 from the militants' hideout (of 4'x3'x4' size) in the house of one Ghulam Mohammad Lone, 30, of Kumral.
Lone was arrested later handed over to the police after a brief iterrogation, sources added.
One wireless set, three Chinese grenades, three UBGL grenades, two AK Magazines, one sniper magazine, three IED fuses, one IED battery, 86 pika rounds, six Link Pika belts, one RPG bomb, 400 gms RDX, one rocket and a rusted rotating butt of an AK rifle were recovered during searches in Ganai area of Surankote in Poonch, they added.
