6.3 quake hits Tibet Autonomous Region
New Delhi, Jan 9 (UNI) An earthquake measuring 6.3 on the Richter scale shook the Tibet Autonomous Region today, but there were no immediate reports of casualties.
The Indian Meteorological Department here categorised the quake as moderate.
The temblor, which struck the region at 1357 hrs IST, was epicentred at 32.0 degree North Latitude and 84.8 degree East Longitude in the Tibet Autonomous Region.
There were no reports of casualties.
