Nicole Kidman got the 'actress bug' from 'The Wizard of Oz'

Washington, Jan 8 : Aussie beauty Nicole Kidman was certain about her future plans as a veterinary nurse, until the 1939 movie 'The Wizard of Oz' motivated her to become an actress.

The 40-year-old traded her desire for treating pets for the big screen after being enthralled by the fantasy film.

"It created a different world that I so believed in, and I credit that with my wanting to become an actress later on - after the usual girly things such as becoming a vet, or a nurse, of course," Contactmusic quoted her, as saying.

Meanwhile, after much speculation, the actress has finally admitted that she is expecting her first biological child with husband Keith Urban.

Kidman and Urban were married on Sunday June 25, 2006, at the Cardinal Cerretti Memorial Chapel in the grounds of St Patrick's Estate, Manly in Sydney.
