Kolkata, Jan 8 (UNI) Forward Bloc's West Bengal secretary Ashok Ghosh today reiterated that the Left Front did not belong to any individual or any single party and it would run on consensus among its constituents.

After meeting with the RSP and CPI, Mr Ghosh said, ''We have discussed the present situation of the Front and Left politics in West Bengal. We had formed the Front not to break it but to further Left politics and ideologies to make it the strongest in the state.'' He alleged that several vested interests were engaged in a maligning campaign that ''we are breaking the Front'', which was out and out politically motivated.

He regretted that one of the major constituents had been using the Front and taking decisions on its own, but it should realise that the Front was not meant for any individual party, it was for all and would run as usual.

LF chairman Biman Bose should call a Front meeting immediately, he demanded.

The FB and the CPI(M) bi-partite meeting would be held on January 10, he said.

Besides, FB state secretary, CPI leaders Manju Majumder and Nanda Gopal Bhattacharjee and RSP leaders Kshiti Goswami and Manoj Bhattacharjee were present in the meeting.
