Equity Fair to attract investors in mid-sized companies
Mumbai, Jan 8 (UNI) City-based, boutique investment bank, Yen Management consultants will organise an International Private Equity Fair (IPEF) in order to facilitate the process of private equity investment in mid-sized companies.
The IPEF will be held in Mumbai on February 27 where more than 150 private equity investors from India as well as overseas will have a direct look at the 25 companies from the country for funding their growth plans.
For the seletion of the company, Yen Management has tied up with IIM-Ahmedabad to analyze the companies and will shortlist 25 companies who will participate in the fair and will work with these companies to make them 'investment ready'.
Announcing the details of the fair, Yen Expo Managing Director Sunil Shirole said here today, ''In our experience mid-sized companies find it difficult to attract private equity investors and with this fair we are trying to provide them a platform which will be an ideal by getting together investment ready companies with private equity investors who are keen to do the deal.'' IPEF is looking for companies with an existing track record, who are looking to raise capital between Rs 20 crore to 200 crore.
Companies across various verticals like IT/ITES, healthcare, pharma, real estate, financial services, retail, hospitality, auto and clean energy will be considered for selection.
