Agra, Jan 8 (UNI) Ruling Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) corporator was today jailed for his alleged 'misbehaviour' with a woman police in Lohamandi area of Taj City.
SSP Navin Arora said taking cognisance of the incident, accused corporator Kali Charan Thakoria was arrested and sent to jail.
Thakoria had reportedly misbehaved with an on duty woman sub-inspector Babita Tomar near Pachkuyian crossing on Sunday night.
However, the corporator rubbished the allegations, saying that ''the cop arrested me over an old vengeance.'' Meanwhile, irked over Thakoria's arrest, his supporters vandalised a police booth at Pachkuyian crossing.
SP (city) Prem Narayan is investigating the case.
