Patna, Jan 08 (UNI) The entire legal community in Bihar comprising about 80,000 lawyers will stay away from work tomorrow to protest the murder of Additional Public Prosecutor Din Dayal Yadav at Jehanabad on December 27.
Announcing the Bihar State Bar Council's decision to this effect, its president Rajendra Prasad Singh said here tonight that apart from observing the strike the Council demanded from the government a compensation of Rs ten lakh to the wife of Mr Yadav and a suitable job to a member of the deceased's family.
Mr Yadav was gunned down by a gang of criminals in broad daylight at Jehanabad on December 27.
However, none of the assailants had so far been arrested despite a massive manhunt by police, official sources said.
