PIC Campaign launched in South Goa by CM
Panaji, Jan 7 (UNI) Goa Chief Minister Digamber Kamat today launched the five-Day Bharat Nirman 'Public Information Campaign' (PIC) with the flagging of the Awareness Rally of about 1000 students from various educational institutions in South Goa.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr Kamat advised the students to offer their support to make the PIC a success by informing their parents about the schemes so that the due benefit can be derived.
The campaign has been organised by Press Information Bureau (PIB) in association with other government media units such as Directorate of Field Publicity, Song and Drama Division with an aim to make people aware of various Government of India schemes, being implemented in Goa during the campaign.
The schemes of Central Bank of India, those implemented by District Rural Development agency as well as the schemes related to agriculture, Horticulture and floriculture are expected to be discussed.
The Rally was organised in association with Nehru Yuva Kendra, South Goa.
