Kshiti vouches for agro-based industry, not corporate houses
Kolkata, Jan 07 (UNI) PWD Minister Kshiti Goswami today advocated for agro-based industries and expressed strong reservation against the involvement of the corporate houses in the industrialisation process.
Talking to newsmen here, Mr Goswami said, " We are unanimous with what veteran Forward Bloc leader Ashok Ghosh has said. We are strongly opposed to setting up industries in the farm land and will not stand the involvement of the capitalists, but we are in favour of setting up of agro-based industries. " The Minister said, " We have difference of opinion with the CPI(M) and party State Secretary Biman Bose has agreed to a bilateral meeting with the RSP. We will highlight all the issues in the meeting. For the past one and half years, the CPI(M) has taken several decisions, which have not gone well with the Left Front. " The CPI(M) would have to change its stand on the industrialisation process, Mr Goswami averred.
He said earlier the RSP had a meeting with the BUPC on Nandigram, but nothing concrete had emerged.
